Genesis 28:6-8

⁶ Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and had sent him to Paddan-aram to find a wife, and that when he had blessed him, he had commanded him, “You must not take a wife from among the Canaanites.” ⁷ Jacob obeyed his father and mother and left for Paddan-aram. ⁸ Esau then understood that Isaac disapproved of the daughters of Canaan.
